Bio:

Matia Query is a professional editor by trade and a self-taught artist. She resides in the Hudson Valley.

Statement:

I'm fascinated by the uncanny, surreal, and supernatural. I'm particularly intrigued by clowns, as I feel they are unfairly maligned and misunderstood. I think of them as the patron saints of the neurodivergent. I work primarily in acrylics and fingerpaint.
