Bio:

Statement:

My current studio practice revolves broadly around human hubris and the impulse to rank, preserve, and immortalize. My paintings speculate what remains after the contemporary narratives built around progress have faded. I am interested in apocalypse not as a singular event, but as an ongoing unraveling of the structures through which we attempt to impose permanence on an impermanent world. I view painting as a search for truth: an opportunity to interrogate the realities we construct for ourselves.
