Statement: I have been fortunate to have been surrounded by great art and culture my whole life, as my father was a great actor, and my stepfather was a passionate collector. I see the beauty in things, but I also see the nightmares, especially now. I have always had hallucinations and put them in my work. I feel happiest when I am alone listening to loud music and painting. I work in charcoal and oil because I love the texture of it, and the ease of manipulating it.
