Carmel, NY
Kelly Edwards, Mark Edwards
60 Minutes (approx)
The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1921) and Nosferatu (1922) are German expressionic thriller. Frankenstein (1931) gave us an iconic monster while Night of the Living Dead (1968) gave us a hoard that we’re still fleeing in film. Little Shop of Horrors (1960) brought out the laughter through gruesomeness while Spider Baby or the Maddest Story Ever Told (1964) made spiders look friendly in comparison to their human housemates.

Husband and wife artists Mark and Kelly Edwards used the films to inspire designs in their own styles and mediums for a unique Halloween show and a little spooky fun. Mark has created screen printed posters on museum board and Kelly has created watercolor and ink paintings on paper.
