Magnolia and Yellow Mimosa create a background in to which the figure is fading. She has created a chain-like armor woven over her, encompassing the florals. Magnolia has a wide range of symbolism but womanly beauty, gentleness, and stability were the ones that were difficult for to find in myself in early motherhood and beyond. Yellow Mimosa is the joy and sensitivity I worked to achieve to find myself again.
