“Filtered is the only image transfer of the series to be a mirror image. It’s a reflection and twist on the filters used for selfies and social media. With my own image, I’ve added gold florals onto face in the areas that are typical smoothed out for wrinkle reduction, and I’ve kept the image darker in tone to combat the lightening on the skin often created with face filters. The florals used are night-scented stock and snapdragon. Both florals can be used to symbolize deception.”
