My name is Marian Brek, but my friends call me Majchi. I am an artist born and raised in a small country named Slovakia, located in Central Europe. I moved to the United States approximately three years ago. Since then, I have continued doing what I was doing in Slovakia – painting. I started painting when I was 20 years old. Before that, I was into graffiti and tattoos. For a couple of years, I also made backdrops for photographers for a company based in the United Kingdom. I am a self-taught artist who loves creating vibrant art, and I hope my art brings people joy. My paintings usually portray female faces or animal motifs, but I also enjoy creating geometric compositions. I use a variety of mediums, such as acrylic, oil, sprays, or markers. My art style is mostly influenced by cubism.
